Renaissance Faire

Today the fiancee and I went to the Renaissance Faire in Escondido. Good thing the rain let up so we could go. Jack (my fiancee) was telling me how it all looked similar to Faerie Worlds. Faerie Worlds is a Pagan event which magick items are sold including non-magick items.

The Renaissance Faire I really enjoyed because so many people were dressed up. They even had a Jack Sparrow walking around. It was for the little kids who were wanting a pirate experience. There was even a Pirate Cove. Each 30 minutes there was a show which went on. We were able to sit in during story time, and listen to the story teller.

The coolest part was their sword battles. Too bad there was not any jousting. After all the faire was in a local park with some trees. Some vendors sold jewelry from rings, ear rings, necklaces etc. I really loved the Blacksmiths tent there was a lot of crafted items. There were these rings but it covers your entire finger and looks like a claw at the end.

It was only a 4 day event but the good thing is they return in the Fall time. Definitely cannot wait till Fall gets here. Really looking forward to it.

Something New and Fresh

Since I have not really had time to think on what to write for my spiritual blog. I finally decided to make a separate blog page for practically anything that comes to my mind. From books I have read, thoughts that pop up in my head, letting you in on what's happening in my life etc etc. My spiritual walk is still currently rolling along just not as much as I need it to. Everything so far is doing pretty well. I am loving the San Diego weather, the beaches are very beautiful looking, absolutely love the different food. Still need to try Ethiopian food though. I have tried Filipino, Mexican, Thai, Cantonese, and even went to a really nice burger chain called In-N-Out. Their burgers are AMAZING. Then there is this other place in a town nearby called the Chicken Pot Pie Shop they sell chicken pot pie including other dishes like spaghetti and meatballs.

I suppose after this blog post I am going to go ahead and start up the next one I plan on writing.
